MISSION & HISTORY
Tafika is a Community Based Organisation established in 1999 by community members. The organization envisions a youth-reliant commitment to attaining sustainable livelihood, behavior change, and development through collaboration with other partners.
Tafika means "We Have Come".
Malawi is one of the poorest countries in the world.
As an example of the challenges we face, the Northern Region of Malawi has 256 secondary schools and only 100 of them have electricity.
Clearly, there are multiple challenges and at Tafika we work locally to find local solutions.

At Tafika we work closely with partners. Often they help with funding and advice and we add our own unique capabilities and local connections to ensure success.
